We invented a new feature for the run timer called the “RUN PAUSE” button that when pressed (after the starting countdown) instructs the timer to stop when the runner stops (up to 2 minutes) for traffic or to tie their shoes. Then automatically starts back when the run starts running again.
How to use RUN PAUSE
- Press the gold Start button to begin your run.
- A 5-second countdown begins. During this countdown you can press the round RUN PAUSE button to queue it up — the green ring lights up to show it’s ready, but the feature won’t activate until the 5 seconds are up.
- Once the countdown finishes and your run starts, RUN PAUSE turns on automatically (if you pressed it). Now, whenever you stop for up to 2 minutes — for traffic, to tie your shoes, etc. — the timer pauses on its own and resumes the moment you start running again.
- Press the RUN PAUSE button again at any time to turn the feature off.
Tip: You can also press RUN PAUSE after the countdown, while your run is in progress.
